"Animal agriculture is the leading cause of deforestation, water consumption and pollution, is responsible for more greenhouse gases than the transportation industry, and is a primary driver of rainforest destruction, species extinction, habitat loss, topsoil erosion, ocean “dead zones,” and virtually every other environmental ill. Yet it goes on, almost entirely unchallenged."

I find it baffling that this knowledge is such a little-known fact. In fact, I never really realized how environmentally exhausting cattle farming is until I saw Cowspiracy. My entire life, I've been preached to about how human energy consumption was the leading cause behind greenhouse gas emissions. I'm glad that I know the truth now.

For as much as the concept of a "New World Order" and the Illuminati is parodied in this day and age, the apparent international coverup of the negative effect that cattle farming has on the environment really makes one think. This is the most obvious conspiracy that I think I've ever encountered.
